Readers, we truly feel a real sense of accomplishment for the stories we wrote in 2015, especially after amassing them in a ‘Best of’ list such as this. We not only paid artists to attend art fairs, but also investigated sexism is arts publishing and even had two Renaissance cosmetics experts dish on body hair removal. Who else publishes this shit? Today, the students have delivered the 760-plus signatures from the international art community, which includes high-profile names like Anton Vidokle, Catherine Opie, and Martha Rosler, along with a new letter calling for the Dean’s removal, to the USC president, high-ranking staff, and board members.

Today, Art F City received notice from the 2015 MFA graduates that they have created a petition to oust Roski School of Fine Arts Dean Erica Muhl. In an open letter, they describe how, under her tenure, the program has suffered a “systematic downward trajectory.”
