Good news for artists frustrated by the realities of poverty imposed upon them. The new philanthropic organization A Blade of Grass will give two grants $35,000 in unrestricted funds to New York based artists artists who make work that actively engages contexts outside the gallery. The online application will be launched in October with a deadline of January 9th.
