Though there’s too much to possibly visit in Chelsea alone, at least a few events in Brooklyn, Soho, and Uptown should make your must-see list. Creative Time’s sent some art to space, the Brooklyn Museum is organizing hundreds of open studios across the borough, and at least one event requires 3-D glasses. Reminder: There are Open Studios at the Northside Festival

The Northside Festival opened yesterday with what looks like hundreds of events. It’s described as the “the most incredible showcase of “what’s next” in music, film, entrepreneurship, and art”– so, BOOM! It’s mostly music and film screenings, but there are also a ton of open studios and exhibitions in the mix. Hyperallergic has co-sponsored the festival, and a series of events will be hosted by the L Magazine, BrooklynVegan, Dailymotion, Pitchfork’s Show No Mercy, et al. There are also a ton of entrepreneurial talks……eh.

Open studios take place Sunday, starting at noon. Music is (mostly) Thursday-Sunday, and film screenings run next Monday-Thursday. Here’s a full list of events, their art page, and Hyperallergic’s round-up.
