There’s no denying Dr. Michael Pilon maintains an odd website. The Ottawa based dentist hosts a number of dancing animated teeth gifs, a creepy sultry set of lips, and a large picture of someone very upset about something. The real treasure of this week’s Best Link Ever though, lies not in the endless fascination of 1.0 aesthetic websites, but the unique charm of Pilon’s audio welcome. Here, he explains that readers will not only find a lot of resources about dentistry but Ottawa, the city in which he’s based. Having spent enough time in Ottawa to know it’s not a city I want to spend more time in than I have to, I wasn’t particularly swayed by his links, but I at least came to think more websites should include audio welcomes.
