- After three years of nonstop bad news, now seems like a pretty good time to look back on early Occupy, its ideologies, and its failings. So after years of post-production work, we’re excited to re-watch The Villains, a film by AFC’s development officer Rhett Jones which has finally been released online. It’s an update to Godard’s La Chinoise, reimagining Maoist students into Internet revolutionaries who talk endlessly about ideals and communication but can’t work together. The film always updates itself; it’s put together online so that it’s always pulling in footage from YouTube. You never watch the same film twice. [The Villains]
