FULL-TIME

Minimum three years experience, expert art handler/installer needed. One preset shift each Tuesday (approx. 10+ hrs) plus freelance shifts averaging 1-4 per week.

Bookstore and Events Manager, Artists Space, New York, NY

The Bookstore and Events Manager is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day running of Artists Space : Books & Talks at 55 Walker Street. The expanding bookstore is currently comprised of 1000 titles selected by 100 artists, writers and theorists. The auditorium houses a variety of public events – from screenings and talks, to meetings, seminars and performances. The position of Bookstore and Events Manager involves three workdays per week during opening hours: Wednesday through Friday, 12 to 6pm, in addition to approximately two evening events per week.
