This week, we’ve been pumping out our guide to Bushwick artists’ studios and group shows. It’s finally time to roll out our schedule of major events, openings, and parties. We’ve grouped the stops by proximity, and they’re linked to our official AFC BOS map.
All Weekend
The Church at 626 Bushwick Ave
The Holy Bos! festival, with everything from screenings and performance to yoga and food vendors, will be held in a massive church. Some events are ticketed. A full schedule can be found here.

3 – 7 PM: Before heading to Regina Rex, Parallel, and artists’ spaces, we recommend swinging by the Sculpture Garden at Onderdonk Farm House, right up the road at 18-20 Flushing.
6-9 PM: Parallel Art Space, also the studio of Enrico Gomez and Rob de Oude, opening reception. 17-17 Troutman Street, #220.
6-9 PM: Regina Rex and Eli Ping‘s studio (in the same building as Parallel) is listed as open, but no special event is mentioned. 17-17 Troutman Street, #329
6-10 PM: While you’re at 17-17 Troutman, Max Razdow‘s shared studio (#315) is listed as open. We suspect that numerous studios in this building will be.
6-9 PM: Norte Maar will have a reception for a show of collaged performance fliers by Oliver Ralli. His band PassKontrol will hold a free performance and record release party at Tandem (236 Troutman) at 9 PM.

6-9 PM: Momenta opening reception at 56 Bogart
7-9 PM: NURTUREart opening reception, 56 Bogart
7 PM: ecoarttech hike departs from the gallery at 319 Scholes Street
7-9 PM: Opening party for 1100 Broadway, a studio of ten emerging artists. This is on the opposite side of the neighborhood from 319 Scholes, but the studio is close to Microscope Gallery (open Friday til 6) and HOLY BOS!
Saturday
11 AM – 2 PM: Maps ‘n’ Mimosas at Norte Maar. 83 Wyckoff, #1B
12 – 6 PM: The Bushwick Community Darkroom will only be open on Saturday from noon – 6 PM. It’s within a few blocks of 17-17 Troutman and Norte Maar, at 385 Troutman Street.
2 PM, 4 PM, 7 PM: ecoarttech hikes depart from the gallery 319 Scholes Street
4 PM: Two Coats of Paint will be holding an artists’ reception and a conversation about painting. 117 Grattan St. #419
2 – 5 PM: Opening reception at Microscope Gallery, 4 Charles Place.
7 PM – 9 PM: Bushwick Basel will be holding a reception. (The fair actually starts at 12 pm). Bring cash; drinks are on you. 108 Starr Street, Ground Floor.
Sunday
3 – 5 PM: Opening reception for the Sculpture Garden at Onderdonk Farm House. This is just up the road from 17-17 Troutman Street, at 18-20 Flushing Ave.
12 PM – 7 PM: Self-directed ecoarttech hikes depart from the gallery at 319 Scholes Street
7:30 PM – 11 PM: Microscope Gallery will present two screening programs of film and video by Bushwick artists, followed by a live performance involving an amateur choir, projections, and an organ at the Holy Bos! festival. 626 Bushwick Avenue.
