- Artist Liam Gillick wrote a horrible essay that tries to connect R. Kelly’s Trapped in the Closet to topics as varied as military control and iPhones. It reads like a grad student’s first essay, which is too bad because I’m a fan of his writing on relational aesthetics. [Afterall]

- Sotheby’s hopes to make more money than the amount of money they normally make. How? They’re putting one of Andy Warhol’s Double Elvis works on the auction block with an estimate of $30 – 50 million. [New York Daily News]
