It’s here! “The Ungovernables”, curator Eungie Joo’s New Museum Triennial show, opened yesterday, and we’ve got the slideshow to prove it. The show focuses on artists, mostly from the Middle East, South America, and Southeast Asia, who are expressing a “strategy of self-determination” as they come of (artistic) age; it’s disjointed and weak in places, but also uncovers a few real gems. Our review will be along shortly, but for the moment we invite you to make your own decisions: check out the gallery!
The Triennial runs through April 22nd.
