This Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17 at 8pm, Dia Art Foundation will present multimedia and theater artist Robert Whitman‘s Passport project at Dia:Beacon in Beacon, New York and at the Alexander Kasser Theater in Montclair, New Jersey.

This ambitious new work combines non-narrative, imagistic theater with live performance, video projections and sound installations in an artist-created environment.

Co-commissioned by Dia and Peak Performances @ Montclair State, this ambitious new work will be performed simultaneously in two places: outside on the banks of the Hudson River near Dia:Beacon, and indoors at the Alexander Kasser Theater at Montclair State University.

During the performance, images generated at each site will be transmitted to, and projected at, the other performance site.

Tickets are available for purchase online, and run $25 for general admission and $15 for members, students, and seniors, including museum admission.

The Dia:Beacon performance is sold out, though tickets are still available for the Alexander Kasser Theater event.
