Deborah Kass, Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner, 2009
Good news. AFC’s well known image-based essay series IMG MGMT begins today. For this series curatorial fellow Dave Harper and I invited over ten artists to put together image based essays for the blog. Amongst this years participants are Paul B. Davis, Deborah Kass, Josh Kline, Lorna Mills, Shana Moulton, Sara Greenberger Rafferty, Sean Raspet, Jennifer Sullivan, Peter Sutherland, Slavs and Tatars, and Anton Vidokle. This series has been in the works all summer, so I’m really excited to seeing the series come to fruition.
