Best Link Ever! Pizza Kids!

It’s Friday, so that must mean it’s time for BEST LINK EVER!!! Growing up in my house Fridays also meant pizza day, which naturally brings us this week’s pick, Pizza Kids’ “We Like Pizza (Radio Version).

I assume this epic tune is a huge hit in Bulgaria or Sicily or some other place across the pond where mixing children, Euro-techno and pizza is typical. Shockingly – as much as New Yorker’s love the corner slice – with just over 50,000 views (minutia in YouTubeland) it clearly hasn’t taken off here yet. It’s also surprising considering the kind of European crap we typically buy into. Anyone else remember, Aqua’s “Barbie Girl” or Jordy “Dur Dur D’Etre Bebe”? Pizza kids sounds like a bizzaro Barbie-Jordy hybrid. Of course, visually, this isn’t much to look at, so, plug in your headphones, turn up the volume, and get ready for a pepperoni and extra-cheese-y trip. In the meantime, I’ll keep searching for the Paul Oakenfold 12” extended dance remix.

I can’t wait for some film student or another to make an actual video for this.

I envision a whole bunch of kids running down the street with slices in their hands and throwing them into the air at the end.
