Thanks for posting this–our notes were pretty accurate. Howard Halle was asking what I would consider an alternative to Ben Davis’s depressing vision of postmodern art and permanent power structures. While Davis “sidestepped the Internet,” as Jesse P. Martin noted, Groys sidesteps Davis in this essay. I love it.
