Nice use of full-scanner-bed imaging in lieu of searchable text. It’s of a piece with some of the IRL panelists last year whose idea of being on the Internet was to be as perversely inaccessible as possible. Content-wise, the medium is the message: you get to see almost as much detail of, say, a scanned baby bib with the logo “high maintenance” as the naked eye could see, as opposed to the ubiquitous 450 pixel wide thumbnail. That in itself is refreshing, but as with the double happiness blog, paging through it will be work. (I realize there is more narrative content than I’m getting into here, such as the running theme of a gentile who wants to be Jewish–is that a persona? That will be better understood by RSS followers over time.)
