This post’s title may be slightly overstating the matter, but having just wasted 30 minutes in the office replaying this Friskie’s video, it’s certainly *amongst* the best commercials I’ve seen. Thank you, Paddy. I’ve been touched by bliss every time this commercial comes on during the Olympics. I’ve been imagining the art department at the ad agency slapping their foreheads, saying “I can’t believe they approved this.”
I’ve also enjoyed imagining the actual cat, on the floor of the kitchen, lolling around with a demented kitty grin, while this long, strange trip plays out in its little kitty head.

Wow, Paddy, that’s trippy. Interesting how the turkeys and fish usher the cat along to it’s throne/portal back into somones kitchen. At first I considered them foolish to be guiding the predator to lunch on them, then as I watched them skillfully exit the cat from “adventureland”, I understood they just sent it off politely to eat someone else.
