I’m psyched! Tonight, Art Fag City pairs with Earl Dax to host Ryan Trecartin’s screening of P.opular S.ky at The Delancey Lounge and the evening’s going to be HOT! Part of Dax’s larger event, PUSSY FAGGOT, brings together queer performance and culture to create nothing short of awesomeness. Trecartin’s screening will run 9-10, the Happy Hour portion of the evening (hello free Sky Vodka). During this time, Art Fag City will unveil a new suite of tattoos inspired by both the artist’s work and, of course, the internerds [see below]. I can’t remember the last time I was so excited about schwag…actually, until now, I may not have ever been actually excited about schwag.
PUSSY FAGGOT promises to extend well into the evening, with performers Chez Bushwick co-founder Jeremy Wade (with Mike Skinner and Pete Drungle) and Kenny Mellman (Kiki & Herb, Our Hit Parade), and Deee-lite's Lady Miss Kier to DJ! The event co-hosted by performance artist Penny Arcade and actress Sophia Lamar.
