“This is a really mature work for a 32-year-old,” said one would-be buyer of the baby and wolf suckling on the teets of a naked amputee in the woods. Indeed Ms. Taylor has come a long way from Bomb Landscape 4, 2007, whereby she depicts an infant drawing milk from a cleansing tube attached to her mother’s breast. But where will she go from here? Only the next Pulse art fair will tell.
