I do not understand why "emerging"artists, or "artists" would want to go to Art Basel. The fair and all its suck-up satellite fairs are designed to sell art to the bored monied types. Its a bit like cows wanting to visit the slaughterhouse. I propose an anti-artbasel fair, a gathering of artists and creators at some free place with warm weather, a place for artists to meet each other and make stuff without all the games and competition.
