Need a feeding trough/pet food bowl for your apocalyptic unicorn? Identifying a hole in a yet untapped market, Hogar Collection in Williamsburg will showcase my latest response to that niche consumer. Well, that and a pillow sporting a jpeg of a Jill Magid light piece reading “I Will Burn Your Face.” The two pieces were made specifically for Scarlett Fever, an exhibition of Rutgers MFA alumni 2000 -2001, by plugging the term “Rutgers MFA” into a Google image search. All work was then printed at CafePress. The exhibition includes the work of Saul Chernick, Michelle Forsyth, JJ Garfinkel, Andrew Guenther, Matthew Day Jackson, Michael Maxwell and Clifford Owens and opens tonight 6-9.
