Tomorrow, Now, Forever

The sun is always rising. As such, the Internet’s powers that be responded by creating a webcam program users can witness it remotely all day long. Ex-Corporation’s Tomorrow, Now, Forever not only features images of the sunrise, but provides the geographic and temporal coordinates. According to the announcement I received via email this makes us all more aware of our displacement from sunrise, a mildly engaging idea if it meant anything more substantial than “people have different perspectives when standing different places.”  Mostly, I just like to see where the sun is rising rather than read it on some international Internet clock.

Thank you. This post is much appreciated. Corrections: there was no press release; the statement you quote was not made by ExCorp; the clock doesn’t indicate sunset, only sunrise.

    Hi Angie,

I’ve changed the words “press release” to “announcement” though I think this amounts to the same thing. Here’s the email I received:

    Dear friends,

ExCorp announces the release of Tomorrow, Now, Forever.

    http://www.tomorrownowforever.com

Tomorrow, Now, Forever captures live webcam images of the sunrise as the sun is constantly rising somewhere in the world. The images are displayed with geographic and temporal coordinates indicating one’s displacement from the sunrise.

    (The sun is always rising.)

If the quote was not made by ExCorp who should it be attributed to? Sunset was a typo that has been corrected.
