Ever want to deconstruct a master engraving? Now you can thanks to “Analyze This,” a special feature on the RISD Museum of Art website that allows visitors to hide or reveal the hatching lines added at various states of the engraving process. The tool was developed as part of The Brilliant Line, an exhibition curated by RISD printmaking professor Andrew Raftery. As tipster Saul Chernick remarks, “It is an excellent example of technology being used in service of museum education.”
