Superstar curator Hans Ulrich Obrist may need to permanently station himself outside the Art Lobby due to his intense speaking schedule at Art Basel Conversations. What are the specific differences between physical and virtual museums?
Does the virtual possibility, e.g. following the installation of an exhibition online, compete with experiencing the museum and artwork itself and in real time? Will physical museums establish a parallel identity while forming a virtual museum online? Will virtual museum visits compete with or complement real visits?
