Normally, a summation post on multiple masthead contributions appears when we change over the artist, but in Parker Koo Ito’s case our blog software had too much trouble handling the files. Ito was gracious enough to set up his own page for us, so we could hotlink the images, but the post appears a little later than we intended due to these (now resolved) technical issues.
You’ll note this post showcases a fuller range of Ito’s work, which includes the obscene and excessive. Evoking the work of Kenneth Tin-Kin Hung, the loud tone of these pieces seemed particularly well-suited to the blog. In fact, I’ve rarely seen work so specifically respond to the flashing AFC gif, a pleasing aspect of the work for us here at the HQ. Thanks Parker!
