Art In America: Officially Relevant

Good on Art In America for having the presence of mind to hire Sarah Hromack as their web editor.  In addition to her visual art background, she’s been an active member of the web publishing community for some time, working, among other things, as an editor at Curbed.com San Francisco.  Notably, a number of long time web art writers appear on the site. Paul Laster of ArtKrush, Kriston Capps of Grammarpolice, and ArtCal Zine’s Bosko Blagojevic all contribute content. You’ll also see a piece or two from yours truly at AiA during the Art Fairs this week under News and Opinions.   There’s no RSS feed on the site yet but I’ll be posting the usual teasers and Fresh Links over here to relevant material, so it’s not like readers will be in the dark about what’s going on at Art in America.

Is it just me or does their site look a tad like AFC? hmmmm

Thanks, Paddy!

1) RSS en route imminently
2) @Hrag: Try Interview; we’re both pubbed by Brant.

Keep reading, people! Much more to come (including a spot by AFC)…

And it’s a good match, too, Interview. I have to admit I’d never seen video of Cindy Sherman as Cindy Sherman before, so this is a fascinating first glimpse for me. At any rate: smart, clean design, perfect for the publication, and I’ll be subscribing to that feed.
