weiging in a little late, but I don’t agree with the theme hate - ‘ninja’ theme is awesome. I love primary colors.

also, ‘terminal’ is for the truly hardcore.

I’ve been rocking shiny, it’s fine. more of something to waste your time on for a few minutes. maybe they posted the mountains login just to announce that something was new?

There isn’t really a reason why they couldn’t let you choose your own image for the homepage if they wanted to do so.

but yea, the themes pretty much sucked.

seriously. the mountains on gmail’s sign in page are a horribly jarring thing to see first thing in the morning. the themes are ok, because they can be avoided, but the mountains are for everybody; taste or not.
