This is a great analysis of why we cant make blanket statements about statements, and perhaps a way of understanding that some artworks call for words while others do not. Nice distinction makin' AFC!

I like how you continue to explore the artist statement and your support examples. As artists we are most often required to provide our venues with artist statements. Truthfully for some works there are words that flow while with some others, we have to push words out, perhaps contrived, over analyzed possibly diluting the sacred space between viewer and the art.
