Spiral Jetty: Continued Discussion

Newsgrist reminded us over the weekend that since no one is digging up the Jetty, there’s no reason to act as though it is. In the event that there’s been any misunderstanding, no one here said the monumental earth work will surely sink into a lake as a result of the oil drilling — we simply want to be sure there’s enough time to investigate the possible effects.
