The Miami Art Fairs; A Preliminary Look Based on Email Functionality

For those who don’t think they’ll be reading enough Miami Fair Coverage next week when we attend the fairs, our morning spent on filling out press credential applications has inspired at least one pre-fair prediction.  Perhaps unfairly, ArtNowFair currently holds the lowest prospects because the primary  email address listed on their site isn’t functioning.  To be even handed, they weren’t the only site with this kind of problem — the Pool Art Fair website is virtually unnavigable — but once I found the email, it at least worked.  Normally, I’d balance out the negative coverage with a few hat tips, but frankly it seems grossly unnecessary to provide a list of fairs whose sites and email addresses work properly.

That’s too bad. I’ve heard such good things about galleries like MOKA, White Walls, and Cynthia Corbett, amongst others. It would be a shame if you didn’t at least sneak a few pics of ArtNOW for those of us who won’t be in Miami.

I did not have any problems with the email contact – so it must have been a short lived problem. This is a great fair with excellent galleries..so I hope you will give it more positive coverage.

We like the website a lot, it is fun and graphic and we had no problem contacting them, jumped straight to our email. We are fans of many of the galleries there and the fair is taking risks showing unheard of galleries which is great for these galleries to finally get exposure for their artists. You must have had a server problem maybe?

i wish you would have stuck it out and made it to the second floor at artnow. there was some interesting work there. i may be biased as i was an exhibitor but i brought what i think was some interesting work and my neighbors did too.
