I think most people looked at the computer and thought chatting via pictures wouldn't actually be that different from what they already experienced. This was my feeling. I will note though, that I saw that piece at a press preview, so it's not like there were tons of people chat with - though the artist's assistant was there to explain the piece. Yeah, the communicating with the person on the other side of the wall wasn’t that interesting to me.
