I don’t know when damaged internal organs began to represent deep investigations of the perils of drinking, but perhaps the gallery should start targeting high schools as potential clients, since they claim the work targets this demographic. Of course, Capla Kesting will undoubtedly tell you that sculptor Daniel Edwards merely builds upon a body of work that investigates celebrity culture. If last year’s “Monument to Pro-Life“, an equally attention seeking piece featuring Britney Spears giving birth is any indication it may well be.
