Rejected Youtube Videos Still Loved. Part Three

by Art Fag City on March 28, 2007 Events

It looks like news readers don’t like our youtube links, and neither does wordpress, as I notice the embedded videos occasionally fail to show up on the blog. Apologies all around for that suckage – we’ll be fixing it shortly.

With that said, in case you thought I was done with my New York Underground tubetime rejections for this week’s competition think again. I’ve got a line up of videos that will serve to frustrate all those who work at quite offices, and lack the luxury of playing whatever they want, whenever they want. Of course, if you’re in this position and truly unhappy about it, you should simply buy a ticket and watch the approved videos in bulk this Saturday at the Anthology Film Archives.

A splinter group of the Isley Brothers, Isley Jasper and Isley put together this video of the future several years ago. Ultimately I eliminated it because I thought it was a little too well known, but I could very well be wrong about that.

For those of you not overly familiar with the Nintendo game Mike Tyson’s Punch Out, you might want to click on this link first for context, as the above video features what I like to think of as Japanese video game re-enactors. They’ve really got the punching action down just right!

This last link got eliminated because it seemed like something I might see on boing boing, and therefore didn’t appeal to me. Of course, that might also make it the reason not to removed it. Via emdashes (who also sent me this, but I don’t get it.)

In other news, I’m out of town today, so posting will consist of, well, this.
