Your Space is one of many exhibitions hosted by galleries and auction houses this summer which showcase the art of their employees. Knowing a few employees at Phillips, de Pury, I can tell you that working there is no slack ass proposition, so any artist who is swinging both a career and a studio life needs to be commended. Also, most artists would kill to give up their day job to make art, and though it may be a bit to ask of a summer show, I’d love to see an exhibition like this launch the career of an artist.
